Who We Are

The Junior Service League of Gallatin (JSLG) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The purpose of the JSLG is exclusively educational and charitable.

The JSLG reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. There is an age requirement.
What We Do

JSLG explores the needs of our Gallatin community, and establishes projects to meet those needs. We provide trained volunteers and financially assist organizations in meeting their needs.

How We Do It

The League provides training for volunteers to be effective in their service to the community. The placement of these volunteers and the League’s funding support is directed towards the areas of women, children, families and their needs in relation to health, welfare, education and enrichment.

Operating expenses are funded by membership dues. Proceeds from our fundraisers support League selected community projects.

Community Impact

The JSLG contributes hundreds of volunteer service hours annually, and has financially supported selected agencies with more than $270,000 in its first ten years.
